Beyond amazing, truly a work of art

"I have traveled and worked with musicians in Cuba for twenty years, including a few of the remaining members of the BVSC and Beny Moreno’s group. The people on stage for this production are the equal or better of all the great musicians o heard in Havana, not least of why because they have excellent instruments, unlike their Havanese counterparts. "Wednesday, June 25th, 2025 made history as one of the hottest days on record in NYC, but the hottest thing wasn't the weather, it was the stage of The Buena Vista Social Club Broadway Musical's 2pm matinee show! AMAAAAZING!!!! Muy Caliente! I was blessed to witness the original musicians over 25 years ago at Chastain Park in Atlanta, GA, and have been a fan of the group for years! This experience was so amazing that I plan to see it a 2nd time! The ensemble was extraordinary! I attended with my 15-year-old daughter who enjoyed it as well (and you know that age can be hard to please - lol)! We danced, sang, cried, laughed! The music was pure perfection! The casting was on point and the set was absolutely beautiful! Bravo!!! "
